Sometimes I get stuck. I sit down at my craft desk to create and it’s as though all the creative channels in my brain are closed off for repairs. Does this ever happen to you? When I get stuck, I try to find inspiration from Pinterest, a card sketch, or some kind of card making challenge.
It sounded fun to post regular challenges here on my blog for those times when you need a little extra inspiration. I’m kicking off the challenges with sketch #001 today.
A card sketch is intended to be a jumping off point to help you design your own card. You don’t have to follow it exactly, but you can.
I thought it would be helpful with each challenge to show you what I came up with.
For sketch challenge #001, I used the adorable Over the Moon stamp set to make this encouraging card. Not only is this cow just the cutest thing you ever did see, but it’s loads of fun to color! For this card, I used my Stampin’ Blends and did some basic coloring. I was pretty happy with how this little guy turned out.
I’d love for you to share your project using this challenge in the comments below, or e-mail it to me at laura@scrapsofencouragment.com.
