People often tell me that one of the most intimidating things about card making, and crafting in general, is choosing a color palette that works together. The last thing we want to end up with is a beautiful card that totally clashes. Choosing colors that work together doesn’t have to be hard.
Two of my favorite tools to use in this arena are the color coach and the designer series paper in the catalog. The color coach is a fantastic tool to simply look over and find a color scheme you like, or you can start with one color you like and find two other coordinating colors easily.
If you’re looking for more colors that work together, checking the description of the designer series papers is a great way to go. The colors in these designs are perfectly matched, so you can take those colors and translate them into your own projects.
What tools do you use to ensure your colors all end up looking great on your finished project? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
