I’m trying to get lots of cards made for the Cards for Hospitalized Kids card drive this month (Our current count is 12/100 cards). There’s still time to get your Christmas cards in if you mail them in the next day or so, but I’m also trying to make cards for other times in the year as well.
When we’re making cards for these drives, it’s easy to forget the teenagers who spend lots of time in the hospital. I don’t think anyone will argue that the teenage years are difficult. Any teen can use a bit of cheering up, but especially those who are facing medical struggles on top of everything else!
When making cards for teens, quotes, large sentiments, and patterned paper (appropriate for the recipient), can be great allies. This easy design also makes bulk cards for a card drive, event, or large teen gathering pretty simple too.
Do you have any teens in your life? What are your go to designs or elements for cards? I’d love to hear all about them in the comments below!
