Compassion International is an organization my husband and I have supported for years. We believe in what they are doing as they seek to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. We have had the joy of partnering with Compassion to bring one seven-year-old child through their program, ready to launch out as an adult, and another who is continuing to gain support through compassion as she finishes up her first year in College.
While you can certainly sponsor a child through Compassion International, there are so many ways you can support this highly credible program that is helping children in a real and tangible way. One way to help is by donating directly to a specific need in their gift catalog. As I was browsing the current needs, it became very clear to me what our giving focus would be for this month.
Will you help me reach this month’s goal of providing $150 to Compassion International for Art Classes?
As crafters we KNOW the power of art when it comes to dealing with stress and healing emotional wounds. Let’s work together to make this type of therapy and release accessible to children who need it the most! You can find out more about the art classes here.
Ways to Help:
- Check out the Compassion International website and donate to them directly. There are many ways to help out from ongoing child sponsorship to one time donation to current critical needs to providing for causes in the Gift Catalog and more.
- Use host code 3WXVWSHN in my Stampin’ Up! store now through January 30, and 10% of your order (before tax and shipping) will go directly to providing art classes for children in Compassion centers around the world. (Find out more here.)
- Pray for all of those working for Compassion International, both in the U.S., and abroad in their compassion centers and for the children they are reaching. Pray also for those children waiting for sponsors.
