This month is national crafting month as well as the 30 day color challenge over at the daily marker. Are you participating in the color challenge or any other fun challenges for the month?

I thought this sketch would be a great way to feature a large focal image. You can use a die, a large stamp, beautiful patterned paper. Anything beautiful and bit will fill this sketch nicely.

I’m particularly happy with the way this fun get well from all of us Card turned out. It’s perfect too because there are just enough meerkats to represent each member of our family.

I did a little bit of masking, a lot of fun coloring, and some clear embossing for this one.

This is what the sketch could look like turned over on its side. I veered from my typical white background on this one, and I’m happy with the result.
Because this is a DistINKtive stamp, I used a sponge Daubbers to apply my ink to my stamp and I used a full back post it note for my masking to give depth to my stamping.

I did a bit of simple watercoloring on this one. It was my first time using the Fluid100 watercolor paper and I think I’m in love! 😍 This paper makes the colors pop so much!
